Avenue of the Giants

The river and the 31-mile Avenue of the Giants meander through the second-largest old-growth forest in the redwoods' 500-mile range. For some of the best areas to hike, try Founder's Grove, Gould Grove, or the Burlington Beach trail. • Shrine Drive-Thru Tree
  Drive through a living tree! Drive your car on a log! Count the rings of history! Many things to do for the kids. Visit the redwood gift shop and enjoy a bite to eat at the Drive-Thru Tree Deli Cafe.
